March Break Friday Fashion Workshop!

My amazing sewing teacher, Sarita,  and I are hosting a super creative and fun Fashion Workshop on Friday March 14th, during March Break. 

We are basing this around a men's white button-down shirt - everyone gets one to upcycle and create something new. 

We will all do our magic and end the day with a cool fashion show (parents, friends invited !). 

What we can we do with our shirt ? 

Dye it !  And colour(s). TieDye, Dip Dye..... anything

Screenprint it !  Everyone gets to make a silkscreen, with their own images to add to their shirt (and tote bag) 

Patch it !  We have TONS of fabric for patches.... or print your own.  And then machine or hand sew your patches. 

Paint it !  We have every colour of fabric paint, so the sky's the limit. 

Bedazzle it !!  I love bedazzling so I hope you like that...!! 

Grommet it - and add charms - in my pictures you can see I've added Cheezie bags - we can make those (I have lots of bags to shrink!) and we have shrink art supplies here- you can make anything. 

SEW it !  Make your shirt into a top and skirt set.... or a halter dress or a maxi shirt.... SO many options.. !! 

Embroider it !! That would make an amazzzing statement … and keep doing more at home - you can take home tread and needles  to do more - just send us a pic 😋

The workshop is from 8:30 to 5 pm (you can come later and/or leave earlier if you need to.

Good for ages 7 to 16 

No experience needed - we will teach you.  Everything is easy and fun - up to you how far you go with your creation. 

Have a blast, upcycle, learn new fashion skills and take home something cool that YOU made.
