Each participant designs their own artwork, and then (with Kingi's brilliant guidance) "shoots" it onto a silkscreen that we've prepared for you beforehand!
Kingi explains how the magic process works to get the image onto the screen, and demonstrates the first one. (It's photo emulsion, and it's pretty cool to see!)
After the demo, folks help each other out with the steps of shooting, washing out and drying the screens. But Kingi and the team are always standing by to lend a hand.
Finally then, it's time to choose colours and print!
You can mix and blend till your heart's content, print different colours, make a bandana for your dog out of our fabrics and a matching tee shirt for your self. Just have fun and be creative!

The screen can be used hundreds of times, and everyone gets to print a few items to take home.

Choose your own painting from 25+ mid-century paint-by-number recreations that Kingi herself traced, drew, simplfied and redesigned to make them easier for beginners.
She based the recreations on her faves from her personal collection of over 1500+ vintage paint-by-numbers paintings!
Her collection covers every inch of wall space from floor to ceiling in her eclectic, inspiring, joy filled art studio and gallery. Seeing all the art, and getting a tour from Kingi (just ask!) is all part of the experience!
