Your host, Kingi Carpenter, is a legendary Toronto artist, designer, and teacher. She’s been helping people unleash their creativity for over 35 years through her famous Peach Berserk silkscreen workshops. Kingi’s colourful Queen Street West studio is filled with art, fashion, and joy — the perfect place to get inspired and make something fabulous.

What if I'm not good at art?
Everyone's an artist! Kingi shows you how easy it can be to come up with an idea and make it work as a silkscreen print. No previous art experience necessary!
Can kids come?
Yes! Families love coming together for these workshops. Kids, teens, and adults all have fun — and we’ve even had grandparents join in. Silkscreen printing is truly fun for everyone!
How long is each workshop?
Each Introduction to Silkscreen Printing Workshop runs about 3 hours.
How big are the groups?
It varies! Sometimes it’s an intimate evening with just a few people, other nights it’s a lively group of 30–40. Either way, it’s always welcoming and fun. We have different tables, so your group will be able to be seated together.
Can I book a private silkscreen workshop for my group?
Yes! We love hosting birthdays, team building events, date nights, and more. Just call Kingi to chat about your ideas and start planning! 647 740 1141
What should I wear?
We have aprons available at the studio, but remember, it can be messy! Dress comfortably and don’t wear your absolute favourite white silk shirt (unless you want to screenprint on it 😉).
Is your space accessible?
Yes, we’re on the ground floor with no steps at the entrance. Many guests with wheelchairs and walkers have joined in comfortably. The washroom is on the main floor too (though small, so not fully wheelchair accessible).
Where do I park?
Parking is easy! There’s a Green P lot nearby and lots of street parking.
What makes Kingi’s workshops different?
Glad you asked! The workshops are held in Kingi’s legendary Paint-by-Number Palace — a studio filled with over 1,500 vintage Paint-by-Numbers artworks collected over decades. It’s truly one of Toronto’s quirkiest, most creative spaces.
Can I get a refund if I can’t make the workshop?
Sorry, no refunds but you can transfer to another workshop in the future that suits you, or turn it into a gift certificate for someone else to attend a workshop.
