My Art and Fashion Summer Camp was such an amazing success last summer...
I am now starting an afterschool program focusing on sewing skills, fashion art and sustainability.
It's here at Peach Berserk every Monday for 14 weeks - from September 16th to December 17th from 3:30 to 6pm
This is taught by me, Kingi the owner of Peach Berserk. I am a well known Canadian screenprint artist / fashion designer and teacher with a 35+ year history. My iconic fashion brand has made countless unique and fun prom and wedding dresses, and more including making outfits for Prince, Paula Abdul, Olivia Chow, Wendy Mesley, plus for many movies, music videos and more—
I ran my famous pink boutique on Queen Street West for over 20 years; a destination shop for fashion seekers across Ontario and beyond, and am now focused on teaching silkscreening and running events in my gorgeous, spacious, art gallery/ storefront studio at 1694 Queen St West, Toronto.
I am a registered teaching partner with the TDSB, CAMH and various Community Organizations and has taught over 10,000+ people over my career all over Ontario and as far as teaching young people in Northern Cambodia.
And Sewing Expert Sarita Malan
Sarita has taught machine sewing and design techniques for over 10 years and is an ongoing sewing instructor at the TDSB.
With our focus on sustainability and upcycling, the skills and projects everyone will learn and do will last a lifetime for all.
I think it is fun to pick the one you are into that day, or do some of both !
You can sign up for one or a few dates or better yet come to them all ! The days individually are $49 each, and the FULL 14 week program is $589 (2 sessions free).
