Here's how it works!

Your Creative Break includes one custom silkscreen made just for your group. It can be a logo, a favourite phrase, an inside joke or even a photo — and Kingi can help you choose an image that will print beautifully.

Kingi will also show you how a silkscreen is made using light-sensitive photo emulsion. Watching the image appear on the screen is a little bit like magic!

Once your custom screen is ready, the printing begins. You’ll use it along with Peach Berserk’s collection of 100+ silkscreen designs, with a rainbow of ink colours to choose from.

Kingi will give everyone a quick printing demo, then you can mix and match designs, layer colours, experiment with different techniques and add hand-painted details to create your own one-of-a-kind piece.

THE PEACH BERSERK EXPERIENCE

Creative Break isn’t just about printing — it’s also about stepping into the colourful world of Peach Berserk.

Located in Queen West, the Peach Berserk studio is a one-of-a-kind creative space filled floor to ceiling with vintage paint-by-numbers, art, colour and decades of collected inspiration. It’s part studio, part gallery, part creative wonderland.

Kingi Carpenter has been creating, teaching and making art in Toronto for decades. She brings warmth, humour, encouragement and a totally unique creative spirit to every workshop!

How much does a Creative Break at Peach Berserk cost?

Creative Break is $89 per person. The price includes one T-shirt or tote bag per person, all inks and printing supplies, access to Peach Berserk’s collection of 100+ silkscreen designs, and one custom silkscreen created especially for your group.

How long is a Creative Break?

Creative Break is a 90-minute hands-on silkscreen experience.

How many people can take part?

Creative Break is designed for groups of approximately 3–50 people. If you have a larger group, get in touch and we can talk about what might work.

Do we need any art or silkscreening experience?

Not at all! Creative Break is completely beginner-friendly. Kingi will show everyone how to print and help you experiment with colour, layering, different printing techniques and hand-painted details.

What ages is Creative Break suitable for?

Creative Break is fun for a huge range of ages. Kids as young as 4 can enjoy printing with a little adult help, and teens, parents and grandparents get just as into it. It’s a great option for mixed-age family groups because everyone can work at their own level and make something completely different.

What is included in a Creative Break?

Each guest gets one T-shirt or tote bag to print, access to Peach Berserk’s collection of 100+ silkscreen designs, a rainbow of ink colours, paints and all printing supplies. Your group also gets one custom silkscreen made especially for your event.

Can we choose the image for our custom screen?

Yes! Your custom screen can feature a logo, favourite phrase, image, inside joke or something special to your group. Kingi can help you choose an image that will work beautifully as a silkscreen.

Can we print extra T-shirts or totes?

Absolutely! Extra T-shirts or totes are available for $8 each. You can also add extra custom screens for $39 each, take your custom screen home for $29, or purchase inks to take home starting at $15.

Can you bring Creative Break to our office or event venue?

Yes! We can bring the screens, inks, supplies and creative fun to your office, event venue or other location. Off-site pricing is customized based on your group size and location. Get in touch and we’ll put together a quote.

Can we have food and drinks?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks, or we can help arrange them for your group. Just let us know what you have in mind when you inquire.

Is the Peach Berserk studio accessible?

Yes. The Peach Berserk studio is on the main floor with no steps and has an accessible washroom.

How do we get to Peach Berserk? Is there parking or TTC nearby?

Peach Berserk is located on Queen Street West in Toronto. There is Green P and street parking nearby, and the studio is easily accessible by TTC.
