A Creative Life with Jeanne Beker

      Friday October 16, 6 - 9 pm

Join us for an unforgettable evening with one of Canada's most iconic voices in fashion.

For 27 years, Jeanne Beker invited millions of viewers into the glamorous, creative, and often unpredictable world of fashion as the beloved host of Fashion Television

From front-row seats at Paris, Milan, London, and New York Fashion Week to interviews with legendary designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, Yves Saint Laurent, Gianni Versace, and countless others, Jeanne helped shape the way generations of Canadians experienced fashion.

Her warmth, curiosity, tenacity and unmistakable style made her the face of fashion in Canada and one of the world's most respected fashion journalists.

At A Creative Life with Jeanne Beker, you'll spend the evening with Jeanne as she shares stories from behind the scenes of the fashion industry, unforgettable moments from Fashion Television, the evolution of style over the decades, and the creative lessons she's learned throughout an extraordinary career. Guests will have the opportunity to ask Jeanne their own questions in a relaxed, intimate setting.

Following the conversation, we'll head into the Peach Berserk silkscreen studio for a hands-on creative experience led by legendary Toronto designer and Peach Berserk founder Kingi Carpenter

Drawing inspiration from Jeanne's extraordinary career, Kingi will guide guests through the art of silkscreen printing using a collection of exclusive fashion-inspired screens created especially for this event.

You'll print your own wearable work of art while learning the techniques that have made Peach Berserk a Toronto fashion institution for over 30 years.

Capacity is limited for this intimate, interactive evening celebrating Jeanne’s amazing career.

Whether you grew up watching Fashion Television, work in a creative field, love fashion history, or simply enjoy hearing the stories behind extraordinary careers, this is a rare opportunity to spend an evening with one of Canada's true cultural icons—and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art inspired by her incredible legacy!
