Calling all stylists, fashionistas, artists and junior designers ages 8+!
Spend your PA Day getting creative at Peach Berserk with a jam-packed day of fashion, art, upcycling and hands-on DIY fun!
This full-day camp is a crash course in Fashion DIY and upcycling, where every camper gets to dream up, design and create their very own wearable art masterpiece.
We’ll kick off the day with a trip to a local thrift shop, where each junior designer can hunt for the perfect piece to transform. (Campers are also welcome to bring a favourite item or two from home that they’d like to give a whole new life!)
Then it’s back to the Peach Berserk studio, where the transformation begins! We’ll help each camper develop their idea and show them how to use a whole range of creative techniques to make it happen.
Depending on their design, campers can experiment with:
Silkscreen printing
Hand sewing
Basic machine sewing
Upcycling and alterations
Patches and surface embellishments
Shrinky Dink accessories and details
Cutting, layering, decorating and styling
And lots more creative Fashion DIY!
There are no cookie-cutter projects here! Each camper gets to follow their own creative vision, while our fabulous instructors are there every step of the way to teach new skills, help solve design challenges and make sure their creations turn out amazing.
It’s a full day of experimenting, making, learning and expressing your personal style — and at the end of the day, every young designer heads home with a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art they designed themselves.

I’m Kingi Carpenter, founder of the legendary Peach Berserk boutique on Queen Street West, Toronto. For over 35 years, I’ve been a Canadian textile artist, screenprinter, and fashion designer.

Now, I bring that creative energy to my spacious Queen Street West studio, where I host unforgettable workshops and fashion camps for young creators.
