Toronto’s Most Creative Fashion Camp for Kids & Teens
Hey everyone! I’m SO excited to host my amazing week-long Art & Fashion Camps this summer at Peach Berserk. We ran our first camps last year, and they were a HUGE success – I can’t wait to do it all again in 2026! 🎉

All fabric, sewing, screenprinting, dyeing, painting, and upcycling materials are provided, plus a budget for our thrift shop field trip. Just bring snacks, lunch, your ideas, and your creative energy!
Day 1 – Welcome to Fashion Week
Meet Kingi & get inspired by decades of textile/fashion design.
Share YOUR fashion goals!
Sewing 101: choose a beginner-friendly project (skirt, top, tote bag) to design, cut, sew, and decorate during camp.
Day 2 – Thrift Store Adventure
Field trip to one of Toronto’s best thrift shops.
Learn how to spot treasures and transform them through upcycling.
Begin your redesign project + keep sewing.
Day 3 – Screenprinting Magic
Learn the full photo-emulsion screenprinting process.
Create your own designs and print them onto t-shirts, fabric, and your thrifted finds.
Day 4 – Fabric Dyeing & Painting
Explore textile embellishment techniques.
Experiment with bold colors and patterns on fabric, t-shirts, and upcycled pieces.
Day 5 – Fashion Show Finale
Finish your projects (and start new ones to take home!).
Mini runway show celebrating everyone’s creations.

I’m Kingi Carpenter, founder of the legendary Peach Berserk boutique on Queen Street West, Toronto. For over 35 years, I’ve been a Canadian textile artist, screenprinter, and fashion designer.
✨ Highlights:
Created fabulous outfits for stars like Prince, Paula Abdul, Olivia Chow, Wendy Mesley, and countless costumes for movies & music videos internationally.
Ran my famous pink boutique for 20+ years – a destination for fashion lovers from across Ontario and beyond.
Partnered with TDSB, CAMH, and many community organizations as a teaching artist.
Taught over 10,000 students, from Toronto to Northern Cambodia.
Now, I bring that creative energy to my spacious Queen Street West studio, where I host unforgettable workshops and fashion camps for young creators.
